Integrations

The Central Nervous System for Your Data Ecosystem.

Willow is built on an open API architecture designed to ingest, synchronize, and correlate data from any source.

Human movement does not happen in a vacuum. Willow acts as the universal synchronization layer, fusing our computer vision physics with biometric, environmental, and mechanical data streams to create a holistic "Digital Twin" of the event.

We connect with the hardware and software you already use.

Neuroscience & EEG (Brain-Computer Interface)

Correlate cognitive state with physical output.

We are bridging the gap between what the brain commands and how the body responds. By integrating real-time EEG data with our kinematic timeline, we can map brain states (Flow, Stress, Focus) directly to physical mechanics.

  • Featured Capabilities:
    • Cognitive Load Correlation: Analyze how mental fatigue impacts physical form breakdown.
    • "Flow State" Mapping: Identify the exact neurological patterns present during peak physical performance.
  • Featured Integration: Flowtime
    • We ingest Flowtime’s multi-channel EEG data to visualize brainwaves (Alpha, Beta, Theta, Gamma) overlaid on the video timeline. This allows researchers to see exactly what the brain was doing the millisecond a pitcher released the ball or a surgeon made an incision.
  • Supported Standards: CSV/JSON export from Emotiv, Muse, and OpenBCI.

Consumer Health & Wearables

Add biological context to biomechanical data.

Motion data tells us how a person moved; biometric data tells us what it cost them. We integrate with major health repositories to pull heart rate, HRV (Heart Rate Variability), and sleep history, providing a 360-degree view of athlete or patient readiness.

  • Featured Capabilities:
    • Metabolic Context: Correlate heart rate spikes with specific movement intensities or work tasks.
    • Recovery Analysis: Adjust BioSim™ injury risk predictions based on sleep and HRV data pulled from the user’s history.
  • Key Integrations:
    • Google Health Connect: Seamless ingestion of Android ecosystem data (Pixel Watch, Fitbit).
    • Apple HealthKit: Direct sync with Apple Watch telemetry.
    • Samsung Health: Integration with Galaxy Watch and Ring ecosystem.
  • Specialized Wearables: Oura Ring, WHOOP, and Garmin Connect APIs.

Spatial Computing & LiDAR (3D Scanning)

Place the human in a physically accurate environment.

Video is 2D; the world is 3D. We integrate with LiDAR scanning applications and hardware to ingest point-cloud data of the environment. This allows us to place our skeletal models inside a verified 3D map of the room, factory floor, or playing field.

  • Featured Capabilities:
    • Environmental Constraints: Verify if a worker’s poor posture is caused by the physical layout of their workstation.
    • Collision Detection: Simulate movement paths within a scanned 3D environment.
  • Featured Integration: Polycam
    • Scan a room, machine, or object using Polycam on an iPhone/iPad. Upload the .ply or .obj file to Willow, and we will anchor the motion capture data within that exact 3D space, measuring reach and clearance with millimeter precision.
  • Featured Hardware: iPhone/iPad Pro LiDAR, Faro Laser Scanners, Leica BLK series.

Connected Sports Equipment (IMU/IoT)

Fusion of external sensor data with optical tracking.

Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) attached to equipment provide high-frequency data (1000Hz+) that complements our optical tracking (60Hz-120Hz). We fuse these datasets to validate acceleration curves and impact forces.

  • Featured Capabilities:
    • Sensor Fusion: Combine optical body tracking with sensor-based equipment tracking for zero-drift accuracy.
    • Impact Verification: Correlate the visual moment of contact with the accelerometer’s vibration spike.
  • Featured Integration: Blast Motion
    • We synchronize Blast Motion sensor data (bat speed, attack angle, time-to-contact) with our visual skeletal analysis, providing coaches with a unified dashboard that verifies what the sensor "felt" against what the camera "saw."
  • Featured Devices: Diamond Kinetics, Zepp, Xsens DOT, and generic Bluetooth IMUs.

Robotics & Applied Control Systems

Train machines to move like humans.

Willow is a critical component in the robotics training pipeline. We output data formatted specifically for robotic control systems, enabling imitation learning and teleoperation.

  • Featured Capabilities:
    • Imitation Learning: Feed human kinematic datasets directly into robot training environments to teach humanoid balance and manipulation.
    • Teleoperation Feedback: Use Willow to interpret operator movement and send control signals to robotic end-effectors.
  • Featured Platforms:
    • ROS / ROS 2 (Robot Operating System): We export kinematic data in ROS-compliant message formats for immediate use in navigation and manipulation stacks.
    • Boston Dynamics SDK: Formatted data streams for quadruped and humanoid research.

Modeling, Animation & Simulation (CGI)

Powering Digital Twins and synthetic environments.

Our data isn't just numbers; it's motion. We export processed skeletal data in standard animation formats, allowing 3D artists, game developers, and industrial designers to drive avatars and simulations using real-world human movement.

  • Featured Capabilities:
    • Motion Capture Export: Convert video to 3D animation files without the need for a mo-cap suit.
    • Digital Twin Simulation: Drive avatars in industrial simulations to test ergonomic workflows before building the factory.
  • Featured Supported Software:
    • Game Engines: Unity, Unreal Engine 5 (Live Link support).
    • 3D Suites: Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D.
    • Formats: .FBX, .BVH, .GLTF, .USD.

Universal Data Ingestion (CSV/JSON/Parquet)

If it has a timestamp, we can use it.

Our platform is agnostic. If you have a proprietary sensor, a custom force plate, or a legacy database, we can ingest it. As long as the data contains a timestamp, our Temporal Alignment Engine can synchronize it with the video analysis, creating a unified timeline of cause and effect.

  • Common Inputs: Force Plates (Vald, Hawkin Dynamics), EMG (Electromyography) sensors, Industrial IoT pressure mats, Environmental sensors (Temperature/Noise).
